Notice on occasional server error during journal entry
We’ve identified an issue where, in very rare cases, after entering your message and tapping “I’m done”, a server error appears and the process doesn’t proceed.
This has been confirmed as a bug within the app and is currently being fixed. The issue will be resolved in the next update.
As a temporary workaround, slightly editing your message — such as adding, removing, or modifying a part of it — often allows it to proceed normally. If you encounter the same issue, we kindly ask you to try this method.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will release the update as soon as possible.
Version 2.12 Update
The 2.12 update is now available! This update includes improvements to Birdy and the new referral reward system. You can now update via the App Store or Google Play!
✨ What’s New
– You can now view all the replies you’ve sent through birdy. A new button next to “From another forest” lets you see the warm replies you’ve sent and which ones received gratitude.
– We’ve heard from many of you that you’ve been recommending Mymory to people around you. Thank you so much! To return the favor, we’ve prepared referral rewards: both you and your invited friend will receive 30 cashews. You can earn up to 30 cashews each for inviting up to 20 friends.
⚠️ Referral rewards will be granted only when both users are on version 2.12.
– A “Cashew Ledger” has been added! You can now view a detailed history of cashew transactions. Just tap the cashew badge at the top of the “More” tab.
✨ Improvements
– You can now revisit the message your birdy carried to another forest. A marker will appear on the tree you sent from. Translated replies are easier to compare with the original, and you can hide them if you prefer.
– The input area for journals and birdy replies was a bit small—now it automatically expands up to five lines.
– We’ve fixed the issue where notifications caused your reply screen to disappear while typing. You’ll now get an in-app alert without disruption.
– The number of birdy stories you can view at once now resets if you leave and return to the screen after a while.
– We’ve adjusted the ad loading time for the cashew draw to allow more buffer time. Also, we’re preparing more ways to handle issues via server logs.
– Every time you earn or use cashews, the cashew badge at the top will clearly reflect the change.
– Previously, cashews were deducted first even if planting failed. Now, they’ll only be deducted after planting is completed—and you’ll see this through the cashew badge too.
✨ Bug Fixes
– Fixed a cache issue that caused abnormal growth on certain Android devices. If you still encounter this after the update, please contact us via the in-app support.
– Fixed an issue where only the tree’s reply would appear and then freeze when planting.
– Fixed a problem where bold text caused some content to be cut off for users with certain system settings.
– Fixed an issue where the input field was hidden behind the keyboard on some Android devices.
– Fixed a cache issue that caused abnormal growth on certain Android devices. If you still encounter this after the update, please contact us via the in-app support.
Notice regarding cache issues on some Android devices
An issue was found in version 2.11 where the cache continued to grow abnormally on certain Android devices. This has been resolved in version 2.12, which is now available on Google Play. If you’ve experienced this issue, please make sure to update to the latest version.
This was caused by a simple bug and does not affect any other parts of the app, so there’s no need to worry. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and will take extra care to prevent such issues from happening again.
Version 2.11 Update
Version 2.11 is now available, including updates to sharing, mood editing, and more. Get the latest update now on the App Store or Google Play!
– Discover the redesigned image sharing. Now you can share your tree’s replies and weekly reports. Share your day or week to Instagram stories with ease.
– You can now change the mood selected by the tree on the “Edit Journal” screen.
– For replies from other countries’ Mind Birds, tap to see the original message.
– Fixed an issue where long Mind Bird messages were not fully visible.
– When ad loading fails in the Cashew Capsule, a warning popup will now show the reason to help with better support.
Version 2.10 Update
– Trees and Mind birds now use your app language more reliably when writing and responding! If you prefer the previous method that detects the input language, you can switch it back in Settings. We’ll continue working to make everything even more stable and accurate.
– “Contact Us” is now “Mymory Support,” and we’ve added a new space to share FAQs and news—this very screen! We’ll keep posting detailed update notes and helpful answers to frequently asked questions, so feel free to check in anytime.
– New benefits for Mymory Pass subscribers! You’ll receive more replies from Mind Bird. While the number of replies may still vary depending on how busy Mind Bird is, Pass subscribers will get more under the same conditions. Also, streak journaling is now supported! If you happen to skip a day, writing the next day will continue your streak.
Will my journal be seen by other people?
Your journal is private by default — only you can see it.
However, if you plant today’s tree and choose to use the Mind Bird feature, you can share your thoughts anonymously. In this case, a short and anonymous version of your entry is shared with users in other forests, and you may receive replies in return.
Rest assured: your entry will never be shared with others unless you choose to send it through the Mind Bird. You’ll always see how it will be shared before sending.
Can I see the replies I’ve sent? And can I know which comment sent a heart to me?
Mind bird was created to offer a light and pressure-free way of connecting with others.
– Since your replies are responses to someone’s private thoughts, they are hidden to protect their privacy.
– Also, to avoid any sense of obligation or disappointment when sending or receiving a heart, we don’t reveal who sent one.
However, many users have shared that their replies could be part of their own healing journey and that they’d like to keep them as personal records. We fully agree, and we’re now working on an update to allow you to view your sent replies in the future.
As for hearts, we’re preparing a feature where you’ll be able to see how many you’ve received so far — and even receive cashew rewards. Please stay tuned!
Can I edit what the Mind bird sends?
To protect your privacy, Mind bird summarizes what you wrote — but this can sometimes make the message feel a little awkward. We understand the desire to edit, but allowing direct changes could lead to misunderstandings or misuse, so we’re being cautious about introducing this feature right away.
That said, we totally understand the need and are actively exploring the best way to support it.
Please bear with us a little longer—we hope to bring you good news soon!
I can’t open the Cashew capsule.
Sometimes the Cashew capsule may temporarily stop working due to ad inventory running out or platform-related issues. In most cases, it works again if you try a little later.
If the issue continues, please check the following:
– Accessing from Mainland China: Ads cannot be loaded in mainland China, so the Cashew capsule is unavailable there. Mymory has not officially launched in China, and due to the high cost and complexity of enabling ads, we’re unable to support it at this time.
– VPN or Ad-blocking apps: These services can interfere with ad loading and prevent the capsule from working properly. If either applies to you, please try disabling the service or consider subscribing to Mymory Pass to continue using the feature.
If none of the above apply and you’re still experiencing problems, please contact us via the “Contact Us” button below.
There are words in a different language in my journal!
Since our trees can speak multiple languages, they may occasionally mix in a word from another language by mistake. You can always edit the title and content by tapping the “⋯” button at the top of your journal screen and selecting “Edit Journal.” We’re continuously working on improvements to prevent this from happening, and we appreciate your understanding!
