Notice on occasional server error during journal entry

We’ve identified an issue where, in very rare cases, after entering your message and tapping “I’m done”, a server error appears and the process doesn’t proceed.

This has been confirmed as a bug within the app and is currently being fixed. The issue will be resolved in the next update.

As a temporary workaround, slightly editing your message — such as adding, removing, or modifying a part of it — often allows it to proceed normally. If you encounter the same issue, we kindly ask you to try this method.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will release the update as soon as possible.

Version 2.12 Update

The 2.12 update is now available! This update includes improvements to Birdy and the new referral reward system. You can now update via the App Store or Google Play!

✨ What’s New

– You can now view all the replies you’ve sent through birdy. A new button next to “From another forest” lets you see the warm replies you’ve sent and which ones received gratitude.

– We’ve heard from many of you that you’ve been recommending Mymory to people around you. Thank you so much! To return the favor, we’ve prepared referral rewards: both you and your invited friend will receive 30 cashews. You can earn up to 30 cashews each for inviting up to 20 friends.

⚠️ Referral rewards will be granted only when both users are on version 2.12.

– A “Cashew Ledger” has been added! You can now view a detailed history of cashew transactions. Just tap the cashew badge at the top of the “More” tab.

✨ Improvements

– You can now revisit the message your birdy carried to another forest. A marker will appear on the tree you sent from. Translated replies are easier to compare with the original, and you can hide them if you prefer.

– The input area for journals and birdy replies was a bit small—now it automatically expands up to five lines.

– We’ve fixed the issue where notifications caused your reply screen to disappear while typing. You’ll now get an in-app alert without disruption.

– The number of birdy stories you can view at once now resets if you leave and return to the screen after a while.

– We’ve adjusted the ad loading time for the cashew draw to allow more buffer time. Also, we’re preparing more ways to handle issues via server logs.

– Every time you earn or use cashews, the cashew badge at the top will clearly reflect the change.

– Previously, cashews were deducted first even if planting failed. Now, they’ll only be deducted after planting is completed—and you’ll see this through the cashew badge too.

✨ Bug Fixes

– Fixed a cache issue that caused abnormal growth on certain Android devices. If you still encounter this after the update, please contact us via the in-app support.

– Fixed an issue where only the tree’s reply would appear and then freeze when planting.

– Fixed a problem where bold text caused some content to be cut off for users with certain system settings.

– Fixed an issue where the input field was hidden behind the keyboard on some Android devices.

– Fixed a cache issue that caused abnormal growth on certain Android devices. If you still encounter this after the update, please contact us via the in-app support.

Will my journal be seen by other people?

Your journal is private by default — only you can see it.
However, if you plant today’s tree and choose to use the Mind Bird feature, you can share your thoughts anonymously. In this case, a short and anonymous version of your entry is shared with users in other forests, and you may receive replies in return.
Rest assured: your entry will never be shared with others unless you choose to send it through the Mind Bird. You’ll always see how it will be shared before sending.

Can I edit what the Mind bird sends?

To protect your privacy, Mind bird summarizes what you wrote — but this can sometimes make the message feel a little awkward. We understand the desire to edit, but allowing direct changes could lead to misunderstandings or misuse, so we’re being cautious about introducing this feature right away.

That said, we totally understand the need and are actively exploring the best way to support it.
Please bear with us a little longer—we hope to bring you good news soon!

There are words in a different language in my journal!

Since our trees can speak multiple languages, they may occasionally mix in a word from another language by mistake. You can always edit the title and content by tapping the “⋯” button at the top of your journal screen and selecting “Edit Journal.” We’re continuously working on improvements to prevent this from happening, and we appreciate your understanding!
